Strategic Commander training


1 day

Aimed at those who would normally perform strategic command for their organisation during a major incident/emergency. Delegates should be those already working within strategic positions or those aspiring to do so. 

Tactical Commander Training


1 day

The course will give the training audience the knowledge and skills aligned to good practice in operating at the Tactical level during a Crisis. It will look at the critical aspects of Crisis Management by activity to ensure individuals and organisations are prepared for a Crisis. The course fully aligns with the current National Legislation and Guidance, JESIP Doctrine and the National Resilience Standards.

Response Training


1/2 day or 1 day session

Commanders need to be able to understand, analyse and respond to information in constantly changing environments. Accordingly, this learning programme aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding to work together effectively at the Operational & Tactical level of command, in response to major or complex incidents, including fast moving scenarios.


This one-day course uses scenarios to enable you to apply the principles and ways of working and better understand each other's roles, responsibilities, and capabilities, to facilitate improved communication and information sharing between services.

Loggist


2.5 hours

This course is for those who may be required to act as a Loggist during an incident and who have not previously been trained as a Loggist. To explain the context in which a loggist operates during an incident and provide practical training on how to undertake the role using best practice.


Working with Your Loggist


2 hours

This course is for those who may be required to work with a Loggist during an incident and who have not previously been trained. To explain the context in which a loggist operates during an incident and provide practical training on how to undertake the role using best practice.

Media Awareness Workshop


1/2 day

This workshop is designed for Strategic level delegates to gain a better understanding of why media engagement is important and how to manage this engagement during an incident. You will be taught what the media want, how to prepare for and control an interview and what the media will expect from you. You will learn how to prepare statements, complete interviews, and perform at a press conference.
