Structured Debrief Course
1/2 day
The debriefing skills include facilitating and scribing –the roles are not separated. Learners will leave the course being able to fulfill both roles, which is important when being part of a larger debrief team.
Potential attendees should be confident when speaking in an open forum, have effective report-writing skills and, ideally, be volunteers for the role.
Planning to Recover
1/2 day
The transition from response to recovery should be seamless, mainly if the incident is complex and enduring. This course is aligned with the current government guidance on recovery management. It will use case studies to identify critical requirements and lessons. This course is aligned with UK Government guidance.
Making Defensible Decisions when responding to a crisis
1/2 day
This workshop will look at what makes a decision defensible and how we achieve that. We will cover legislation, review and case study some examples of where decisions have been challenged in a legal setting, look at risk perception, communication and maintaining situational awareness.
